Unfortunately they’ve made the player really rubbish so you can’t skip tracks you just have to listen all the way through. Either way, it’s great, probably the best soundtrack ever. The Thursday acoustic track is really cool, It Dies Today play a cover of an old song (I think it’s Depeche Mode) which I kinda like, and the Norma Jean song is pure class! Check it out.

Comes out October 18th.

I recorded another song just now, it’s the first acoustic+singing thing I’ve written for ages that I actually like! The recording’s quite poor obviously, it’s just me sat in front of my laptop using the built in mic cos my proper mic is broken. But yeah it’s called that and it’s here. It’s very emo and gay by the way.

Anyway yeah I’m currently enjoying my lack of work to do; it’s quite fulfilling, just sitting and bumming around! Yesterday I watched Ghost In The Shell and Sin City, Sin City was quite good but not like amazing, I liked how it was shot all in black and white with some red bits red, if you see what I mean. But the plot didn’t really make any sense or anything, no profound character integration or anything etc. But hey.

Safe.

LOL!!!11111

I didn’t even realise it was a podcast till after I recorded it, but then I decided it was one. I think I’ve put it as an “enclosure” but i’ve never done that before so I don’t exactly know what it means so i’ll do a link aswell.

So yeah weekend has been ok really I guess. Oh yeah and I just thought of a new code, if a post title starts with a lower case character then i’m drunk, cos when i’m sober I always remember to be good and start with capitals! HAR! I stayed in last night but it was ok, just had a fat msn sesh, hannah popped in for a bit later on. So it was cool. I’m gonna go see Home From Home in Bath this afternoon, gettin the train in aboot an hour with Ling…

Oh yeah, so they american military released their report on alledged incidents at camp x-ray. It actually says in it:

On 25 MAR 05, a detainee complained to the guards that urine came through an air vent in Camp 4, and splashed on him and his Koran while he laid near the air vent. A guard reported to a Block NCOIC that he was at fault. The guard had left his observation area post and went outside to urinate. He urinated near an air vent and the wind blew his urine through the vent into the block.

Does that not sound a bit ludicrous to anyone else? Isn’t it more worrying that piss is floating through the air conditioning!? Goodness me.

Update:Yeh so I think you can only see the enclosure in the rss feed or something.

Today is safe by the way, I finished writing a song, played guitar lots, read shakespeare, listened to grindcore. Etc.

I went to like my first proper jazz concert tonight, it kicked arse. It was a tsunami benefit at bradford on avon music centre…I hadn’t heard of the people but they’re apparently “quite well known”, Jason Rebello was just on tour with Sting! Which is kinda cool I guess, anyway they were amazing here’s the lineup:

Piano: Jason Rebello
Drums: Stephen Keogh
Bass: Arnie Somogyl

Arnie Somogyl wrote a lot of the songs, I think I liked his the best. They were all so talented, I didn’t quite get the drums though, I often don’t with this type of jazz. I think i’m just too conditioned with rock/pop drums where there’s an actual rhythm, and jazz drums just seem like a completely different language I don’t understand. I’m just like what? he can’t play that! I think I started to understand a bit more by the end though lol…it’s like just played like another instrument; randomly.

Forgot.other.thing.
